Our driveway on Aylmer Road 

Just to let you know, the Gatineau police are withdrawing the charge and fine, thanks to help from our city councillor, Richard Bégin. (My last letter mentioned this charge and fine.) 

 

My wife was stopped because there was about 5 cm on snow on the "zone de refuge" near the traffic median (not cleared by the city) on chemin d'Aylmer. We did not know it was illegal to turn onto this zone when it's covered by snow. I wonder how many people knew that?  We didn't.  Now we know!
