Optimist International Aylmer Seafood feast

In its third year, the Optimist Club’s Seafood feast, June 1, was the largest yet. Held at the Grande-Rivière High School, the funds raised help the club fulfil its mission of creating positive change, especially for youth. 

Some projects the Optimist Club has been behind include Fleurs de Macadam (chalk festival), speech-making competitions, essay writing competitions, identification for youth, bicycle safety lessons and participation in the Christmas parade.
