Opening of the Auberge Symmes Museum

The new 2020 season of the Musée de L’Auberge Symmes began on Sunday, March 1. The museum will be open from 12-5 weekends and, during the summer, on a date yet to be determined, they will be open Tuesday to Friday from 12-7 and 12-5 weekends. The Museum presents a new exhibition, The Lumberjack, an exhibition of the life of our ancestors who earned their living chopping wood in our region. Several other exhibitions are presented: Robert Clock - Steamers, Tessouat, chief of the Kichesipirinis, who met Champlain and several businessmen and women from the Aylmer sector. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
