The Ombudsman de Gatineau is the last resort for the resolution of complaints concerning municipal services, according to what is legal and fair. The Ombudsman provides free services to Gatineau residents.
The Gatineau Ombudsman is for residents that have filed two requests to 311 and the problem is still not resolved or they feel that they were wronged in the decision made. The service prioritizes fairness, accessibility and aims to be a caring presence in the community.
