Of course, Duggan is Conservative 

I feel compelled to reply to Jamie Cartwirght’s letter in which he could not understand why Duggan is standing for the Conservatives.  The fact is Councillor Duggan is decent, a man of integrity, honesty and hard work - all three of which are major stumbling blocks for any application to run for the NDP.  He is a man with no petty jealousy, ignorance or callous disregard for the voters and taxpayers in his character, something totally alien to the NDP.  Even so, I admit that, his refusal to join the NDP is disaster for them: with an IQ of well over 61, he would have been easily their smartest and most able politician in the country.
