Nycole Turmel and Mathieu Ravignat’s second public consultation on the NCC
More than 40 residents in Hull–Aylmer attended the second public consultation on the NCC, March 19.
“I am very happy to see people take such an interest in our consultations,” said MP Turmel, “Some 40 people attended the consultations in Aylmer, and Hull was a great success as well with some 50 people and numerous associations.” NCC representatives attended both consultations. “I am happy they were there to hear people’s concerns,” added MP Turmel.
The purpose of the consultations is to develop a bill to reform the mandate, structure and operation of the NCC to better reflect the expectations of those living in the National Capital Region while fulfilling its national mandate. Other consultations in the NCR will be held soon. (LR)
