Now a Garbage Tax?

 

Our city administrators are at it again. Their solution to a problem: charge more. We already pay for garbage collection on our property tax bill. What's next, special tax for road repairs? Contrary to the garbage that the city is feeding us, show us the stats on Aylmer's lack of composting and recycling.

The city administration is the real culprit in all of this. They keep issuing building permits for new housing projects without any thought to infrastructure and, yes, garbage.

So, with these proposed new rules, I expect a return to 'weekly' garbage pickup, and nothing less for my tax dollar.
