Nominations for Green Party candidates
Nominations for Green Party of Canada (GPC) candidates in the Outaouais ridings for the 2015 federal election are now open. The GPC is a federal political party with two Members of Parliament in the House of Commons and which claimed four percent of the popular vote in the 2011 election. The Electoral District Associations (EDAs) of the Outaouais are seeking strong, vibrant and qualified candidates to promote the GPC message of holistic policy-making and sustainability and to win seats in the 2015 election.
Anyone interested in representing the GPC in the next federal election must submit their Nomination Contestant Application and Candidate Acceptance forms to the GPC National Office before the close of nominations in their Electoral District. A two-week notice of the nomination closing date will be given. Once candidates are approved by the GPC, the Electoral District Associations will set the date for the nomination contest meetings.
