No, the new hospital is for sector Aylmer!

 

Several groups are trying to convince us [and have convinced the province] that the new hospital should be built in the "centre" of Gatineau, demanding that this new  health facility be easily accessible for all citizens which, curiously, was not a priority at the time of the creation of the current Gatineau Hospital.  Gatineau and Hull already have their own hospitals. Even Buckingham and Shawville have their own hospital!  
    The Odyssey Theatre, the Sports Centre and the Slush Puppy (sports) Centre, all are located in Gatineau!
    Aylmer, the fastest growing part of our city, deserves its own hospital. Equity, demographics and common sense demand this because, unlike other parts of the city,  we have many suitable sites for its construction.
    Keep up hope: "Hope means having expectations when the situation is otherwise hopeless (Gilbert Keith Chesterton)".
