No police at crosswalks?

You take your life in your hands just to cross the crosswalks here (on Principale).

My friends and I use the crosswalks at least 6 times a week, and this is our opinion.

Drivers actually speed up, yell at you to get off the crosswalks, drive around you, head for you as if they are playing “chicken” – directly at you! So where are the police we need? Aylmer is a lovely city; why is this happening?
