Two-vehicle accident at the corner of Riesling and Lucerne

Following the installation of new stop signs at this intersection, two vehicles collided June 15, in the afternoon. The stretch of road is part of Aylmer’s commuter way but, at the time of the accident, witnesses told the Bulletin, the signs were installed with no other warning signs indicating a stop. They also told the Bulletin that no street paint lines where on the streets to indicate the stops. Police told the Bulletin that no injuries resulted from the accident.
