LETTER
Multiple/Multilateral sculpture holds secrets of honesty
I set as my life’s motto: Honesty, Integrity, Dedication, Perseverance, Persistence and Labor – out of necessity or my mom’s parenting attributes. The holy books of most religions stress the importance of “an honest man” (meaning honest human), and I have found such people. You will be interested to know that many appeared in the pages of this newspaper, those who write letters, articles and editorials. Even when they write about fishing! There are many others, like the Honourable ‘former’ AG Judy Wilson-Raybould. I salute her; with people like her, we may have a chance!
There are too many (some may not have a choice) who would sell their souls for three silver coins. This is where religious leaders failed us when instead of moral leadership, they left off leading and made us sheep. Look into the eye of a lamb, or are we more like lemmings – suicidal. Some of these ideas were in letters I wrote, too, and some are responses to my comments.
These are all sketched from the concepts of Multiple/Multilateral sculpture, art, and thought, although we rarely see them in this multifaceted light. A little focussed thought and our understanding will grow!
