LETTER
Mr and Mrs Prime Minister
I admired and I still cherish the memory of PE Trudeau, who, as a politician, proved to be a shining star in our Northern Sky. I heartily hope that his son will surpass the history of his father, but he will need our help, a lot of help, in his very important role and its place in our lives.
The old, actually archaic, role of a 'good wife' roaming around the kitchen is more than 'passé'. A family is much more than that. It needs the cooperation of the whole unit to achieve the necessary balance of life, so I fully support allocating resources to the energetic Sophie to fulfill her new role of wife, partner, and a mother, as well as present a voice of her own; she has what it takes. Consider this as a job creation!
After all, this is our Prime Minister, and Sophie does not asks for 'luxury'; she is the symbol of the unit, something like the 'Mother of our Nation'.
As everybody knows, change needs time; my only fear is that the Prime Minister may feel he has to right so many wrongs all at once. He must exercise patience, and so must we.
Rasto Hlavina,
Pontiac
