LETTER

Mothers, buses, elections, cows

 

As we do each year, the Cow Watchers held a meeting on April 1st. Among other things we reviewed and approved a 10 point plan in advance of the election. We had originally thought of running a candidate so we could provide some commentary on events but have decided against this course once it was researched. The Elections Act now makes it very unlikely for any fringe groups to participate this way with a series of requirements, not to mention the payment of $1,000 up front. Just a bit beyond our means.

I have attached our program and a copy of the letter we sent to the political parties to get their opinion. I realize this is too long for inclusion in your papers but I will provide you with any responses we get from the parties.  

BTW I greatly enjoyed the letter on the bus and the mother, but was shocked by the reaction. Makes me wonder how serious some people take our cow watching!
