More renovations planned for St. Mark’s

The Saint Mark the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church Fabrique (which administers the budget) is collecting funds to make additional renovations to its place of worship. The church recently renovated its iconic bell tower following a successful fundraising campaign which concluded with a surplus of $30,000. With its subsequent rolling toonie campaign, the Fabrique is looking to amass enough funds to deal with unexpected renovations.
If able to avoid surprises, the Fabrique would like to replace the roof shingles, repair sewer line, upgrade attic insulation and upgrade the heating plant. Members would also like to modernize flooring, washrooms, the parish kitchen and the hall and possibly install a new street sign.
The Fabrique will present all their projects and estimated costs in their comprehensive Five-Year Renovation Plan during their Annual General Meeting on May 22. To date, the Fabrique has collected $5,703 as part of their rolling toonie campaign.
