Misleading headline on Brigil

 

I would like to share my observations related to the recent article (sorry, your website doesn't provide the publication date and I no longer have the paper version) written by Laurent Robillard-Cardinal, "Brigil invests close to $10 million in Aylmer," and specifically the misleading headline.

I expected to read that Brigil was spending or contributing $10 million to help build a new community centre or sports complex, or perhaps a youth drop-in centre--something that would benefit the residents of Aylmer. Building this new subdivision is an investment in Brigil's bottom line and nothing more…. Certainly not an investment in the community of Aylmer.
