Mike Duggan’s column in the Bulletin 

I’m not sure if anyone else was surprised to read Mike Duggan’s “Be careful what you wish for” notice in last week’s Bulletin. I was confused as to why the candidate for the Conservative Party in 2019’s federal election was writing in our local paper about a public transport project after he lost to the Liberal candidate. Then I realized the same person running for MP in 2019 is also collecting local taxpayer’s money as a city councillor. Or perhaps I am being unnecessarily cynical and Mike practised conservative principles by not accepting a salary during his political campaign, and thereby saved us money for the said project.  Just an observation ...
