LETTER
Marijuana is harmful
A few weeks ago you published a letter to the editor from someone recommending that parents smoke pot with their children. This was very irresponsible and could cause much harm if someone puts their trust in what the Bulletin d’Aylmer publishes. A responding letter to the editor cannot possibly begin to enumerate the harmful effects of this psychoactive drug. The spectre of investors drooling at their opportunity for profit is stomach-turning, but that is where we are as a society today. Your readers may want to read this article, among a great many others, which exposes one aspect of the cover-up on weed legalization.

The House of Commons Committee on Health report, Risks and Harms of Marijuana, details the harmful effects to mental and physical health:

NOTE: We searched back to mid-November and could find no letter recommending smoking cannabis with children. This is illegal and incredibly unwise, and we would not have intentionally published the suggestion, at least not without a note like this one. Could you cite the date of that letter? - Editor
