Students at Le Plateau primary school on rue de l’Atmosphère were kept inside during their lunch hour, March 31, after police received a call around 11:20 am reporting a home invasion on nearby rue Solstice. “This had nothing to do with the school. The students were not in ‘lock-down’; we just asked that they be kept inside as a safety measure while we were dealing with the other matter,” police officer Andrée East told The Bulletin. She said that the canine unit dogs, Amy and Walter, were called to the scene, but the suspect or suspects remain at large. The investigation is continuing.
