Jean Coutu Aylmer donates
Jean Coutu Aylmer donated $10,000 to Syrian refugee fundraising effort. A collective effort on the part of two Catholic churches, St-Paul d’Aylmer and St-Médard, got a boost February 2. Gilles Lalonde, owner of the Aylmer Jean Coutu pharmacies since the first one opened here 24 years ago, donated to the effort. With some $48,000 already raised, this donation brings the amount high enough that the group can be looking at sponsoring another family. The family of four that is currently approved should be arriving in March of this year.
