Launch of Best of Aylmer, Readers’ Choice

Readers will find a voting ballot on page 11 with categories and empty lines. Everyone is invited to fill in their favourites in the categories provided. It is a free and fun way to support local businesses and organizations who make Aylmer wonderful. The ballots should be brought into the Bulletin office in the Galeries Aylmer. If the office is closed, simply slide the ballot under the door.

Many businesses accept ballots too, and bring them into the Bulletin for tabulating. Online, the voting survey is live and is another way to register support for all things great about Aylmer.

April 20 is the gala where the winners are announced. It is a big fun event with only the finalists invited. Anyone can buy tickets, though, so call the office if this is of interest. This year, a trade show is also planned. Tables are limited, so reserve early if business-to-business services are what a business does.

A new category this year is for businesses that have made environmentally-conscious changes. This can be anything from offering paper straws to changing fleets over to electric vehicles.
