Kids’ involvement in the Terry Fox Run

 

On August 7, 2017, my father-in-law passed away after a short battle against cancer (13 days).  Three of our kids (Julia 13, Zack 11 and Nick 11) were really affected.  A couple days after the funeral, we walked into a bike shop in Aylmer and the kids saw the Terry Fox Run form to collect money for the fight against cancer; spontaneously, they said, “We want to do the Run and collect money for the fight against cancer.” Their objective was $500.

I’m very happy to report that, as of Wednesday, August 30, they have collected $1,300 and, on September 17, we will all participate in the Terry Fox Run in Aylmer and will proudly bring all this money to help the Terry Fox Foundation.
