LETTER
Just ask
If I am to pay further tax on gasoline, let us call it the “consumption contribution to CO2” tax. Then the question begs to appear: “Do I get credit for planting oxygen-producing trees, etc.?” One is negative and the other a positive value, or do I simply pay for my existence with a kind of “head tax”? I am not sure this is the way to fight the ‘climate emergency’. Let’s see if any party really wants to know? If they will ask (rather than just tell us)? My advice has been ignored for a long time!
