“Saving the bees, one beekeeper at a time.” Recent graduates of Heritage College’s Introduction to Backyard Beekeeping course gathered around a practice hive to celebrate their achievement. In its fifth year, the course is given by local beekeeper Bob Valcov. It is 18 hours of instruction and hands-on practical work over six evenings.
