House fire on chemin Klock in Gatineau

On April 7, first responders answered a call about a fire at a private residence at 621 chemin Klock, in Aylmer. According to the Service de Police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG), officers and firefighters arrived at the scene to fight the blaze shortly before 3:30 am. According to the service de sécurité d’incendie de Gatineau, the incident required as many as 40 firefighters in 14 trucks to fight the blaze. It was confirmed that three people were evacuated from the premises and taken in by the Red Cross for examination. Police are currently investigating the matter and said that it would take “some time” to completely assess the incident.
