Hit and run near Front and Raton-Laveur

A pedestrian in his thirties was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle on November 2 at approximately 7 am at the corner of Raton-Laveur and Front streets. The male victim was quickly taken to hospital where fractures were reported. 

The vehicle left the scene immediately. Part of the road remained closed for a few hours before it was reopened shortly before 11 am. Gatineau Police (SPVG) opened an investigation to locate the driver of the vehicle.    (BA)
