Highway 148

 

I drive Highway 148 every day to work in Aylmer/Hull. The reconstruction of a kilometre or two just outside Gatineau city limits is certainly welcome – and they have now started to complete that stretch (two years to complete 1 or 2 kms?). However, much of 148 needs work. How long will we have to wait? And everyone says how fortunate we are to have the Minister of Transportation our MNA – that’s a question! Where’s the benefit?  Why are our roads so bad, even Gatineau’s city streets are rough.
