Healthy remedies or healthy profits?

 

I can’t agree more with Mr Ryan’s take on the media frenzy around the Alberta child who died as a result of an incorrect treatment. If his death had been caused by any number of medication mix-ups or hospital mistakes, this would never have been a news story. That happens far too often to be considered news. It’s just daily tragedy.

Canada’s drug lords (Big Pharma) want control of every sale of any health-related product, simply that. They tried, I think in 2002 or 2006. The public objected, but they have not given up. And that is the real news story here. Thank you, Bulletin!
