Half of local water fountains working

Seven of the 14 local drinking fountains work, as summer draws to an end. The fountains located in the following parks do work: Belmont, Commémoratif, de l'Imaginaire (Marina), Rapides-Deschênes, Tourbillon as well as two of the four Parc des cèdres fountains. Gatineau lists the non-functioning fountains as "to be replaced at the end of their useful life". City officials have not explained when the dry fountains will be replaced, if at all.
