Greg Fergus named parliamentary secretary

Hull-Aylmer’s parliamentary representative, Greg Fergus, has been named Parliamentary Secretary to the President of the Treasury Board and Minister of Digital Government.

Mr Fergus fills the vacancy created when Joyce Murray was named President of the Treasury Board and Minister of Digital Government. In his new role, he will act as a primary link between the minister and other parliamentarians.

Named to the position by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Mr Fergus stated, via his official Facebook page, that he was looking forward “to engaging with the public service unions in our next round of bargaining, developing the next generation public service pay system, and tackling regulatory reform (…)”
