 Great sidewalks!

 

I live in the neighbourhood bordered by Vanier, Allumettières, McConnell and Allen. I also own a dog and walk a lot for good health and to combat global warming. Walking significantly reduces my carbon footprint -- and sidewalks make this possible! Before the multi-purpose path was built on McConnell, walking to Chemin d’Aylmer was dangerous.    Hence, my excitement when I saw the city putting my tax dollar to good use!
    The sidewalk from Allen to the Hotel will make it possible for me to leave my car at home and walk to the bridge to enjoy the beautiful river scenery. I look forward to the day a sidewalk is constructed on Vanier from McConnell all the way to Chemin d'Aylmer!
