Great news for Gatineau!

 

It was released today (April 26) in Le Devoir: “The Executive Committee of the Montreal Metropolitan Community is supporting Gatineau and proposes that the 82 municipalities of the Montreal area, oppose the project of a radioactive dump in Chalk River.”

On this historic decision of Montreal: the 82 municipalities of the Montreal agglomeration have unanimously ratified the resolution against the Chalk River dump proposed to them today by their executive committee.

There are lots of celebrations going on tonight!
