Get serious, and not just about cats
The latest prize-winner (on these pages) is W. Reynolds from old Aylmer for even suggesting people buy guns of any kind to kill cats. Duh, it's against the law to kill any animal!
You don't like cats dumping in your garden, so put something in it to keep them away. There is nothing worse than birds dumping their feces on your stuff, so why not kill the birds? I haven't heard of cats (or dogs) causing major diseases all around the world; can you say the same about birds?
Enough already! We have far more important things to worry about in this town. Like the wonderful job that was done all winter with the snow plows! Like the new seniors project getting $98,000.00 - wow. Seniors are very definitely low on the totem pole. They'll be doling out 2.5 million dollars for new sports fields, and then there’s the hundreds of thousands of dollars already doled out for the "fetes" celebrations.
C'mon, people, get serious about living. Are celebrations and sports more important than taking care of our seniors? And should we forget the wonderful condition of roads in Aylmer – or getting out of Aylmer with only 2 exits? People, really, get a life.
