Gatineau Police investigate suspicious death, body found in Hull

After receiving a 911 call, the police found an unconscious body on Saturday night, January 8, around 6:50 pm, behind 135 Eddy Street in Hull. The individual, a man in his thirties, was confirmed dead at the arrival of police and paramedics at the site.
 
A large security perimeter was set up by the police around the area for investigation purposes and a command post was deployed to the scene, along with the forensic identification service.
 
Police said the next steps in the investigation will determine the exact cause and circumstances of the death and to avoid any interference with the investigation, the Gatineau police indicated they will provide an update in a timely manner.
