Garbage reduction needs compost bin rebates

 

Gatineau plans to reduce garbage by introducing households with a 120-litre black bin July 15, 2018. This is a fantastic idea! Can't the city supply compost bins to residents at a reduced cost or give rebates to those who purchase one?  More residents will compost if some of the cost of a composter is given. Or register it to each household like the blue and brown ones are now – they’ll belong to the municipal address.
