Full House at St. Andrew's Spring dinner
Hélène-Marie Halloran
St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church held its annual "Spring into Spring Dinner" on Saturday, March 21st in their basement. As the oldest congregation in Aylmer, the church has been providing these dinners as part of a tradition that dates back to the 1920's. Tickets were sold at 12.50$ a seat and guests were treated to a full turkey dinner, with takeout option available. All of the food was prepared by the church's Women's Association, who organize both the Spring dinner and the Christmas Bazaar to raise funds for the various charities they support. L'Autre chez soi receives generous donations provided by the money brought in by these events, as well as Luskville House and Maison Mathieu Savoie Froment. This year, the dinner was a success, with both sittings completely sold out.
