Friends of Aylmer Marina

The community association is official since June

The Aylmer community association, the Friends of Aylmer Marina, which was created in January 2017, is now official and incorporated since June. The association held its first general meeting and is administered by six volunteers.

The association aims to build connections between the marina neighbourhood residents and give them a voice to speak on municipal matters. The Friends of Aylmer Marina also has the mandate to organize social, community and leisure activities and other events for the area residents.

There are no fees to become a member of the Friends of Aylmer Marina and subsequently have the right to vote during the association’s meetings.

The Chair of the neighbourhood group, Jean-François Lacombe, invites residents to contact the association by email at lesamisdelamarinadaylmer@gmail.com if they have ideas for community events or if they wish to sit on different committees of the association (social activities, sustainable development, safety or communications). The Friends of Aylmer Marina will hold its first garage sale in the neighbourhood on Saturday, September 22, from 9 am to 4 pm. This will be the ideal time to do your fall clean-up and get rid of articles you are no longer using.
