Fighting on the ice
We are about a month away from the NHL playoffs and things heating up on the ice. While it’s not uncommon to see fists fly during a game, some say fights have increased since the pandemic. Even more alarming, nearly a quarter think fights among fans have increased as well.
A new report outlines which teams have some of the biggest offenders:
Calgary Flames’ Milan Lucic and Coach Darryl Sutter were named some of the top provokers in the NHL
Brady Tkachuk with the Ottawa Senators was voted the Canadian player most likely to start a fight
When it comes to fan fights, Canadian teams were (not surprisingly) some of the least likely to start a fight. That’s probably a good thing considering the Montreal Canadiens, Calgary Flames, Ottawa Senators, and Winnipeg Jets all made the list for fans most likely to lose a fight.
