Fatal Quyon fire

Firefighters from the Municipality of Pontiac were called to an early morning fire around 6 am along Highway 148 in Quyon, December 4. A detour was set up through the village of Quyon for several hours while personnel fought the fire, which resulted in a total loss. One man, in his early 60s, perished in the blaze. The incident is still under investigation.
