LETTER
Fare-free when the buses are dysfunctional?
Yesterday, July 4th, the hottest July 4th on record and that stellar bus service we have, STO, decided to run buses that aren't air conditioned. The 40 is the bus I take and it's a new bus with no air. I asked the "kid" driving it if the bus has air and this genius looks at me and says, "yes, but it's broken." I suggested that they fix it, and I get attitude back.
Look fella, we pay for this so-called service and thus contribute to your salary. It's not asking much at all to have air conditioned buses in the summer and ones with heat in the winter without the attitude from some young guy.
I wish STO would consider their customers first and foremost when putting these furnaces on wheels out there.
