Express lanes ?

 

Can someone explain why the Outaouais has to be different than Ontario, where express lanes are a minimum of two persons per vehicle, but in our area the minimum is three?  From my observations, the express lanes especially on Aylmer Road during rush hours are seldom utilized because of the three-minimum requirement.

If they reduced the minimum to two persons, the utilization would increase substantially. With the ever-increasing traffic here, more use of these express lanes would help.

MNA André Fortin has promised he would bring  this up with city officials.

I am sure this is confusing to Ontario drivers when they see these different regulations on express lanes.

The tickets,  a bit of a cash grab?
