Elder William Commanda’s vision for Chaudière Falls: a film

 

The public is invited to Kitchissippi United Church, 630 Island Park Drive, on Sunday, February 19 at 7 pm for a screening of the documentary Awakening, featuring the late Elder William Commanda’s vision for Chaudière Falls and the surrounding islands. The short film will be followed by two authors reading from their books, and a discussion of the proposed development at the falls. Admission is free, but a donation of $5.00 (or more) would be appreciated to offset costs incurred to organize the evening. The church cannot be seen from Island Park Drive. Turn onto Byng Drive off Island Park. Everyone is welcome.
