Disco Fever Experience helps launch lighting of twin Masson-Anger water towers
A zero-decibel concert hosted by Disco Fever Experience was part of the celebrations May 27 to launch the permanent lighting of the Masson-Anger twin water towers. Built in 1933, these towers are a symbol of the area’s industrial heritage. The event was called Light and the sound of silence, as the disco concert was heard by the public through wireless headphones. Part of the Canada 150 menu of events highlighting local events, and in collaboration with Tourism Outaouais, the evening ended after the ceremonial lighting of the towers.
