Dead crayfish near rapids

 

I was taking my grandson for a walk in Deschenes when I noticed something in the water. To my surprise, I noticed 30 or more dead crayfish in the water -- some looked cooked. I’m thinking pollution is the culprit here. The river smells horribly of dead fish -- is this is worth investigating?
