Aylmer Heritage Association honoured local defenders of historical buildings

The Aylmer Heritage Association held its gala honouring locals who preserve Aylmer heritage at The British, October 1. In addition to the gala was a photo and history display, all within the activities of the Quebec initiative Journées de la culture (Culture Days). A brunch was served and awards were given, and there was a display open to the public.

Micheline Lemieux, president of the Aylmer Heritage Association took a moment to pay tribute to Nora Cousins Larocque and Sylvia Gaudet, long-time dedicated volunteers who both passed away this year. Larocque and Gaudet family membres were in the audience.
