Conservatives oppose marijuana liberalization

Justin Trudeau’s plan to legalize marijuana is going full steam ahead but at what cost? The Liberals have mishandled this file from the start, rushing it through without any consideration regarding the consequences of legal marijuana on our roads and for safety.

In a recent survey of marijuana users, 39% say they’ve driven within two hours of smoking marijuana. Law enforcement has stated they expect an increase in incidents of marijuana-impaired driving and have expressed a concern with a lack of testing equipment and funding in order to deal with this expected increase.
