Climat Québec announces local candidate
Climat Québec, the new political party led by Martine Ouellet, announces its candidate in Chapleau. Anne-Marie Meunier will carry the colours of Climat Québec in the riding. A former federal public servant, Anne-Marie knows well the challenges of living near a border like Ontario. She has been active in administration for over 35 years. She has been particularly involved in education and culture and is well aware of the issues in this area. She has been involved as a volunteer in the community for many years and has helped serve seniors, women victims of domestic violence and families in need. Of Aboriginal descent, she advocates "living together" and promotes inclusion and dialogue. She has been an environmental activist for many years with citizen groups proposing changes. (Translated)
