LETTER
City’s midnight cowboys
It was fascinating to read T. Kerr's letter describing a ticket found on the driver's seat instead of the windshield. I was under the impression that an officer required a warrant to enter a vehicle without the owner's consent. I would suggest going to court on that alone. This is disturbing. Even worse is that many readers no doubt would see no problem with the state intruding into one's personal property arbitrarily. The officers would also do well not to be mistaken for burglars rummaging around cars in the middle of the night.
