City’s “Culture et loisir” program is back
The city of Gatineau’s Culture et loisir program for the spring and summer of 2020 has been officially released, boasting more than 850 fun and affordable sports and cultural activities for all to enjoy.
The program features a number of high-profile regional events, including the Festibière de Gatineau in June, the Gatineau Rock and Country Festival in August and the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival in September.
It also hosts a wide variety of day camps for youth all across the Aylmer, Hull and Gatineau sectors and a long list of artistic exhibition to keep culture-lovers busy all season long.

According to a press release issued by the city on March 4, registration for aquatic activities will begin on March 16 at 6 pm.
For other activities, the process will begin on March 17 and 18 and extend to March 23 at 4 pm.
From March 25 at 9 am to March 30 at 11:59 pm, a second wave of registrations is expected to take place to fill empty spots for all activities.
Valid Gatineau Access cards are prerequisites to registration and stations dedicated to registration will be in place in libraries across the city.
Any questions regarding registration can be answered by calling (819) 595-7474 on March 16 and 17 between 6 pm and 8 pm.
City personnel will be on hand for registration assistance at several locations in Gatineau, including the Lucy-Faris Library on rue Principale (Aylmer sector) on March 16 and 18 between 6 pm and 8 pm.
