"Cash or cheque only" ... ?

 

I’ve been walking at the Galeries Aylmer for years and I still can’t get over this sign at the SAAQ license bureau.
    The majority of people have been using debit and credit cards for decades, and I don’t know of any business that doesn’t accept debit or credit cards anymore (maybe at garage sales and flea markets). But a government service?
    This is the 21st century, 2021. Wake-up! If someone can enlighten me on the subject, please do.
